5 Fragrances On My Wishlist

The holidays are the perfect time to switch up your scent and try something new. Aside from fragrances being the perfect gift to ask for, a new scent can help you refresh for the new year ahead. Here are five scents perfect to add to your holiday wish list this year. 

1. Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne 

While one never discloses her infamous scent, I have to go ahead and expose this one. A friend of mine wears this daily, and although I would never betray her and wear it for myself, I have to share it with the public. This scent is timeless. It is youthful enough to begin wearing in your adolescent years but can carry into the future seamlessly. It is a perfect combination of floral, fruit, and a crisp clean scent. 

2. Prada Candy Eau de Parfum

I remember being about ten years old and having this scent on my wishlist. While I never actually received it, I still think about it years later. I can remember going into department stores and spraying it on the little pieces of cardstock so I could bring it home and have it to smell. This scent is warm and sugary with a hint of spice, perfect for this time of year. 

3. Marc Jacobs Perfect Eau de Parfum 

This scent is actually one that I wear year-round, and I have it on my wishlist this year. It is a warm floral scent that is described as, “modern, bright and feminine.” 

4. Glossier You Eau de Parfum

This perfume has been talked about for quite some time now. I am a true fan of all of Glossier’s makeup products and can imagine that their perfume is nothing short of perfection. This perfume is meant to be for anyone, it is meant to be for “you” (hence the name). It is soft, warm, and familiar. It is the perfect scent to grow with you as you grow up. 

5. Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum for Her 

This is one of my sister’s favorite scents, and I always give it to her for Christmas. Gucci bloom is a classic floral that is sophisticated enough to wear to work, yet rich enough to wear for a night out on the town. If you are wanting to try out this scent before committing to a full-size bottle, consider asking for a rollerball, perfect as a stocking stuffer.
