7 Handbag Trends We’re Wearing Into the New Year

2025 is nearly upon us, bringing with it many occasions. There’s no better time to add flair to your wardrobe — starting with the bag you carry daily or to a special event. These are the styles we’re excited to incorporate into our handbag rotation for the holiday season and beyond.

1. Dark red shades

Red has dominated the fashion world lately with several strong seasons on the runway and appearances in apparel, beauty, and accessory trends. The color is neutral at this point, and a fitting hue for the holiday season and warmer months alike. We love these red bag options from Coach, Reformation, and JW Pei.

2. Oversized shoulder bags

3. Bag charms

Add a little charm to your life with a handbag charm (or two or three or five). 4. East/West totes

5. Buckles

Buckle up and get ready for this hot hardware trend. Buckles, by themselves and paired with other metallic details are popping up everywhere, appearing on belts wrapped around bags, enlarged on shoulder straps, and so on. 6. Bangle bags

7. Suede

Suede hit it big this fall and winter and made appearances all over the runway and quickly swarmed the streets. Suede accessories are a cool weather classic sure to stay in your rotation for years to come. Reformation has fabulous options for those seeking small and large options.
