The BAFTA Awards merge the worlds of film and television. Hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the evening is a runway where fashion takes center stage alongside noteworthy achievements in the industry.

From the latest trends to timeless chic, celebrities and filmmakers alike sparked conversation through couture that reflects their creativity on the stage and off.

Carey Mulligan in Christian Dior

Daisy Edgar-Jones in Gucci

Aside from the feathers, sequins, and cutouts that graced the carpet, the night was two hours worth of surprises with an appearance from Michael J. Fox and a handful of meaningful tributes. It was a big night for Oppenheimer, winning seven awards in total. Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Emma Stone managed to slip through the cracks, coming out on top of Oppenheimer for their roles in The Holdovers and Poor Things, respectively.

If the BAFTAs are any testament to what the Oscars will look like on March 10, we can expect an evening of surprises, high fashion moments, and a celebration of cinematic excellence sure to keep the audience on the edge of their seat.
