Founded in 1941 in New York City, luxury brand Coach went back to their roots on Sept. 9 to debut their spring ready-to-wear collection at New York Fashion Week.

The theme of the spring 2025 collection is “Unlock Your Courage,” and the faces of the campaign include Elle Fanning, Charles Melton, Nazha and more. The brand’s most recent global ambassadors — along with many other recognizable faces — sat front row at the show.

Stuart Vevers has been Coach’s creative director since 2013, but has also spent time at Bottega Veneta, Givenchy, Loewe, and Louis Vuitton, where he worked alongside the late Karl Lagerfeld.

Vevers is known for creating “youthful, vibrant, and street-ready designs at the helm of the fashion brand,” explained Pameyla Cambe for Grazia Malaysia.

While Coach has historically been known as one of the more “affordable” designer brands, their recent rebrand has not gone unnoticed by the public. Thanks to model Bella Hadid, both the Tabby and Brooklyn bags have arguably become two of the most coveted purses in high fashion.

On the runway, Vevers made cotton tees, khaki pants, and navy blazers ready-to-wear, giving everyday, upcycled street style a second chance at life. The imperfections of the oversized, battered “I Heart NY” t-shirts and oversized bomber jackets made Coach stand out this year.

“I’m really very intrigued by how the new generation is discovering those American classics and seeing them through fresh eyes,” Vevers said for Vogue Hong Kong.
