Dior and A24 Announce Creative Partnership
By Madeleine New - September 17, 2026
Dior is taking its relationship with Hollywood a step further.
The French fashion house, led by creative director Jonathan Anderson, has announced a two-year creative partnership with independent film and entertainment company A24, bringing together the worlds of fashion, film and theater.
The partnership will focus on artists and storytelling through film, theater, live events and other creative projects. Dior will also become the main partner of A24’s historic Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City, which will serve as a central location for the collaboration.
“This is the start of an exciting partnership built around artists and storytelling,” Anderson said in a statement about the collaboration. “Putting two creatively driven worlds side by side — you start to see what they pull out of each other that neither could’ve found alone.”
The partnership will include programming both on and off screen, bringing together established artists and emerging creatives.
The partnership is a natural extension of Anderson’s existing relationship with film. Before taking over Dior, he worked with director Luca Guadagnino on costumes for films including Challengers, an A24 release. Dior itself also has a long history with Hollywood, making the agreement another step in the relationship between the luxury fashion house and the silver screen.
Dior and A24 did not announce the partnership with a traditional campaign.
Instead, they introduced the partnership with a series of playful, star-studded promotional videos centered around Anderson himself.
The campaign features Sabrina Carpenter, Camille Cottin, Josh O’Connor, Drew Starkey and Sophie Wilde attempting to play the designer. Dressed in variations of Anderson’s recognizable uniform of jeans, plaid shirts and sneakers, the celebrities practice his accent, mannerisms and distinctive runway walk before Anderson eventually joins the joke by appearing as himself.
One teaser shows Carpenter walking on a treadmill before the camera pulls back to reveal Anderson beside her in an almost identical outfit. The full short film was written and directed by Aidan Zamiri, who has previously worked with A24 and Charli xcx.
The unconventional rollout reflects exactly what both companies bring to the partnership.
A24 has become known not only for its films, but also for creative, often unexpected marketing, while Anderson has increasingly blurred the lines between fashion and other areas of pop culture.
