Jared Ellner: The Stylist Shaping This Generation’s Hollywood Stars

Jared Ellner, one of the most influential up-and-coming stylists, has proven his artistry and fashion genius throughout his styling and design career. Ellner has recently catapulted to success, receiving notable recognition for styling celebrities such as Sabrina Carpenter and Emma Chamberlain—just to name a few—and releasing his fashion line “Jared Ellner.” Ellner’s work has been praised for its innovative approach to fashion.
During his early years at the Parsons School of Design, Ellner interned at Vogue, marking his initial exposure to the world of styling. After his years in school, he served as an assistant to the editor in chief and fashion director of Garage Magazine and eventually rose to the position of fashion editor. It was here that he first connected with Emma Chamberlain; a partnership that would be pivotal later in his career.
After relocating to Los Angeles amid the pandemic, Ellner reconnected with Chamberlain, and not long after, she became his first celebrity client. Ellner styled Chamberlain for three consecutive Met Galas, garnering a lot of acclaim and expanding to a diverse array of celebrities and artists. For example, Ellner worked closely with Victoria’s Secret to pull archival pieces and make custom pieces for Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet Tour” and various red carpets.
In 2023, Ellner founded Ellner Styling Studios in Los Angeles, a studio focused on catering to a diverse clientele and elevating the styling and fashion landscape through working on high-profile projects. Ultimately, Ellner says that his “first love” is fashion design. His namesake brand, consisting of distinctive and unique tops, bottoms, and accessories, further illustrates his versatility and broad appeal. His brand reflects his signature aesthetic: graceful and refined, yet playful. Ellner hopes to further explore the intersection of styling and design, whether through red carpet ensembles or his own design ventures.
Ellner’s keen eye for style has earned him widespread recognition, including a spot on Forbes’ “30 Under 30: Art & Style” list in 2024. At the recent 2025 Hollywood Beauty Awards, Ellner won the esteemed Janty Yates Styling Award for his outstanding contributions to the styling field. Not only is this achievement indicative of his prominence in the fashion world, but it also depicts his commitment to fostering creativity and authenticity in fashion.
