Loewe Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear

A daring, delicate, and cool collection.
Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Loewe, stole the show at Paris Fashion Week. Debuting his spring 2025 collection, Anderson kept the massive venue fairly bare to prove that the looks themselves were the main focus.
From florals to function, Anderson took the idea of alluring, delicate works of art from the Classical Era and turned them into something fashionable and wearable. While the womenswear show paid homage to iconic artists like Mozart, Van Gogh, and Bach, Anderson also did a phenomenal job of incorporating the modern-day “cool girl” into the collection. Models wore cropped graphic t-shirts and oversized, single-breasted blazers to emphasize the impact of fashion’s past, present, and future.
The collection was full of “larger than life shapes” and pieces meant to “take up space,” according to Kristen Batement for W Magazine.
Along with ballet flats, the tutu has made a comeback this spring. Anderson romanticized the idea of a young woman’s playful, unapologetic style, turning it into something luxurious and mature for this spring collection.
Both chic and spirited, Anderson strayed away from the norm with upside-down aviator sunglasses, silhouettes, sneakers, leather, textures, and flared edges on both tops and bottoms alike.
At the menswear show, feathers seemed to be the main attraction. Paired with a sleek black suit, gold metallic and striped feathers draped from many of the models' foreheads, covering their faces and emphasizing the fact that fashion is an art form.
Anderson’s spring 2025 collection for Loewe proved he is an ultramodern artist who understands the idea that fashion tells a story, and some trends have the ability to stand the test of time.
