Prada Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

On Sept. 25, The Fondazione Prada’s Deposito space showcased Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’ work for this year’s Milan Fashion Week. The floors of the art exhibition hall in Milan were a laminated, glossy orange, setting the color scheme for the ready-to-wear collection.

Described as a “response to the overload of contemporary culture,” models strutted across the gleaming stage in reworked, everyday uniforms.

Prada and Simons authentically presented the ability to blur the line between uniforms and eveningwear. The collection explored themes of lightness and fluidity through a vision of ‘new elegance’.

Prada steered clear of minimalism this Milan Fashion Week. Colorful hues like red, orange, and purple dominated the show.

Patchworked ‘Franken-skirts’ created an intentional chaos between fabrics, blending lace, taffeta, and satin into a single garment. Looks were paired with loud accessories such as satin elbow-length gloves and oversized gemstone earrings, adding a unique elegance to the Prada brand.

Prada and Simons’ Spring 2026 collection supported maximalist aesthetics, offering a response to the monotony of contemporary everyday life. Prada’s interesting fusion of modern-day uniforms with eveningwear emphasized the collection’s distinct vision of resilience and elegance.
