Saint Laurent Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

By Campbell Bensley — March 9, 2026

Saint Laurent’s Fall 2026 collection celebrated 10 years of Anthony Vaccarello as creative director and the 60th anniversary of Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic “Le Smoking” tuxedo. It was set in a glass-walled venue under the Eiffel Tower lights, accompanied by the heavy synths of French electronic artist SebastiAn, who brought Paris club culture to the runway.

Vaccarello leaned into the style of the 1970s, highlighting the French-German actor Romy Schneider. Her role in the 1971 detective gangster thriller Max et les Ferrailleurs was his main inspiration for the show.

The collection featured new iterations of the iconic Le Smoking, the groundbreaking tuxedo-style suit for women that Yves Saint Laurent created in 1965. These filled the runway, paired with long, oversized fur coats and sheer lace dresses. The show leaned heavily into boxy, masculine tailoring, exploring the idea of women occupying traditionally masculine power spaces.
