Spring Break 2025 Style Guide

Spring Break 2025 Style Guide

By Brooklyn Hoffmann — March 6th, 2025

With February coming to an end, it’s time to start gathering the essentials for spring break. Spring 2025 has already been on the fashion industry’s radar, with a variety of lookbooks that encapsulate the season’s predicted trends. This year’s spring fashion can be described as a mix of ‘Boho’ and ‘resort’ chic.

The Bohemian style, often referred to as ‘Boho chic,’ is a fashion and lifestyle choice characterized by its unconventional and free-spirited essence. The style is seen in a variety of media and pop culture, such as Kate Hudson as Penny Lane in the ‘70s rock world of Almost Famous and Blake Lively’s Serena van der Woodsen in “Gossip Girl.”

Boho chic incorporates fringe, crochet, and earthy tones. It usually includes flowy, frilly layers, floral and paisley prints, abundant layered jewelry, and over-the-knee boots.

Tropical attire, or ‘resort chic,’ is all about creating a relaxed yet stylish look that embraces the warm, breezy atmosphere of a tropical destination. It utilizes lightweight fabrics like cotton and linen with a variety of bright patterns and colors. Vibrant hues like coral, turquoise, and sunny yellow, as well as soft pastels are common in tropical chic, reflecting the lively colors of nature in tropical destinations.

It often includes free-flowing sundresses and maxi skirts with woven wedges, sandals, or strappy heels.

These two styles blend together with different textures and patterns to create a dynamic look, such as a kimono robe over denim shorts or a plain white tank top with a sheer sequin skirt. Accessories like oversized hats and statement jewelry can elevate any outfit and add personality.

Spring break is the perfect time to experiment with new styles and embrace the vibrant, carefree spirit of the season. No matter what vibe you go for, the key is to feel confident and comfortable in yourself and your style.
