To Have and To Wear: Dua Lipa’s Wedding Style

To Have and To Wear: Dua Lipa’s Wedding Style

By Emma Gentry — October 2 2026

Choosing just one bridal outfit is already a challenge, so English pop star Dua Lipa showed that curating a whole wardrobe is a better option. For her wedding-season celebrations with her English actor beau Callum Turner, she went from sharp London tailoring to feathered looks in Sicily, giving each event its own style.

She wore Schiaparelli, Bottega Veneta and — for the main ceremony — Chanel Haute Couture. If anyone needed a reason to add another dress to their bridal Pinterest board, here it is.

London: Signed, Sealed, Schiaparelli

The celebrations started with the couple’s civil ceremony on May 31 in London. Lipa wore a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit, matching a fitted jacket with a white silk skirt. Gold buttons and a structured waist added flair, and a wide-brimmed Stephen Jones hat brought just enough drama. She completed the look with gloves, Christian Louboutin heels and Bulgari diamonds. Even a town hall wedding called for its own accessories budget.

What made the outfit stand out were the proportions: a defined waist, a softer skirt and a hat that gave the whole look a fun, theatrical touch. It had the elegance of a classic bridal outfit but with extra attitude. Turner kept it simple in navy, letting Lipa’s white suit shine next to him. They looked poised for a special day without being too uniform.

Sicily: Let the Party Begin

For welcome drinks in Palermo, Italy, Lipa swapped her tailored suit for a custom Bottega Veneta halter gown made of white leather. The dress featured the brand’s signature woven details, an open back and a skirt covered in white ostrich feathers. She finished the look with a matching feathered clutch and gold Bulgari jewelry. Leather isn’t the usual choice for a wedding in Italy, but that made it even more fun.

Turner wore a beige linen Jacquemus suit, and the two arrived at their welcome party dancing. With friends like Charli xcx, Troye Sivan and Mark Ronson there, the evening was already full of personality. The feathers fit right in.

The Main Event: Here Comes Chanel

For the ceremony in Sicily, Lipa wore a custom Chanel Haute Couture gown by Matthieu Blazy. The dress was covered in crystals and feathers, with a low back and a long train. An embroidered veil and feathered headpiece made the look even more romantic. After her sharp suit and the leather welcome-party dress, this was her true bridal moment.

The details are worth a closer look. British Vogue reports that the gown had 480,000 beads and 25,000 feathers, plus a two-meter train and a six-meter veil. The shimmer, texture and movement made it perfect for a bride who needs to make a grand entrance.

Even the post-wedding brunch had an outfit worth talking about. On Sunday, Lipa wore white lace with gold jewelry and carried a Chloé swan bag, as seen on the runway. The bird-shaped accessory added a playful touch to her final look. After the couture and the long veil, ending the weekend with a fun handbag was a nice change.

Throughout the celebrations, the best styling choice was variety. Each outfit matched a different mood, and none looked the same as the last. There was space for elegance, romance and a bit of fun — all of which made getting dressed exciting. If you’re planning your own wedding wardrobe, that’s the detail worth copying. The Chanel Haute Couture can stay on the wish list.
