The 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards took place on Sunday, February 26. As always, the star-studded event was full of the latest fashion, with popular styles including vintage tailoring, naked dresses, and hot pink. Below are the looks that encapsulated the fashion of the night.

Zendaya in Valentino and Giorgio Armani

Only twenty-four hours after her first public appearance in five months, Zendaya wore not one, but two stunning dresses during Sunday night’s ceremony. She started the night in a custom blush pink Valentino gown that featured 190 rosettes. The dress was accessorized with a Bulgari diamond necklace and matching bracelets which she swapped for a mother of pearl and aquamarine choker in her second outfit. The actress presented a portion of the show alongside Paul Mescal in an Armani gown featuring black sequin detail and asymmetrical baby pink and blue color blocking.

Eddy Redmayne in Saint Laurent

Called “the best dressed man” of the night by Vogue, Redmayne wowed crowds in high-waisted trousers and a white shirt that featured a large bow detail and puff sleeves that cinched at the wrist.

Haley Lu Richardson in Carolina Herrera

Richardson was wrapped in pearls and elegance for her first SAG award appearance. She accessorized the Carolina Herrera gown with a matching black and pearl handbag and silver jewelry.

Li Jun Li in Fendi

So called “naked dresses” have taken recent red carpets by storm. Li’s metallic interpretation of the trend, featuring visible metallic underwear, did not disappoint. She was joined in the trend by Rooney Mara, Britt Lower, and Jessica Williams.

Jessica Chastain in Zuhair Murad

Chastain’s bright and classic gown was paired with Gucci jewelry and matching lipstick. Hot pink was in no short supply on Sunday’s red carpet. The actress was joined by Sabrina Impacciatore, Ariana DeBose, and Abby Elliott in wearing the color.

Ashley Park in Elie Slab

Park donned a cream gown featuring a high slit and extreme metallic detailing across her shoulders and chest. Park paired the caped number with gold Steve Madden heels and a bedazzled ankle brace. The Emily in Paris actress has made several appearances since suffering an ankle injury in January.

Amanda Seyfried in Prada

The only nominee to wear a mini dress, Seyfried’s clover green Prada dress was reminiscent of 1960s style. She emphasized the outfit’s mod appearance with a voluminous high ponytail.

Austin Butler in Gucci

The maroon Gucci tuxedo was perfectly tailored and featured a deep-cut vest and retro style pants. Butler paired the ensemble with a black bowtie and watch.
