21st Century Style Icon: Timothée Chalamet

21st Century Style Icon: Timothée Chalamet

By Audrey Cooper — March 3rd, 2025

Timothée Chalamet has proven time and time again that he dominates the men’s fashion scene in Hollywood. From the red carpet and movie premieres, to award ceremonies and sporting events, Chalamet is never afraid to step outside of his comfort zone when it comes to fashion.

The French-American actor has received nominations for two Academy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and four BAFTA Awards for his amazing on screen performances; all while maintaining a progressive style and a taste for haute couture. Chalamet has established  relationships with many high fashion designers throughout the years, but he works the most with Haider Ackermann, Stella McCartney, Virgil Abloh, and Prada.

What makes Chalamet stand out is his androgynous style. It strays away from the standard masculine cuts, instead favoring unconventional silhouettes, statement accessories, and sleek suits with bold color schemes. Chalamet blends high fashion and tradition into a playful, youthful look.

Chalamet also makes a creative effort to incorporate method acting into his looks.  He embraces the styles and characteristics of the role he is playing during promotions, for example, the purple hues of Willy Wonka and scarves often worn by Bob Dylan after the release of A Complete Unknown.

Here are some of our favorite Chalamet looks from throughout the years that have established him as  the king of the red carpet and the fashion prince of the streets.
