Held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, this year’s Golden Globe Awards not only honored the best in film and American television productions of 2023, but also showcased the beginning of 2024 red carpet fashion.

Andra Day was a presenter for Best Original Score - Motion Picture at this year's awards alongside Jon Batiste. Day previously won in this category in 2021. She wore a black high-low dress with a layered train designed by Georges Chakra. The elegant black dress featured a sheer material with a bow on one shoulder. The dress was paired with black sheer gloves and black pumps.

Natasha Lyonne was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Television Series for her starring role in Poker Face. Lyonne wore a strapless white fringe Schiaparelli gown with a sharp bustier that caught the red carpet’s attention.

Hannah Waddingham arrived at the awards in an all-black lace gown by Suzanne Neville with sheer fabric. This gown included floral embroidery across the high neck and sleeves. The corset helped combine goth glam with elegance. Waddingham was nominated for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role on Television for her role in Ted Lasso.

Saltburn star Barry Keoghan, nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Motion Picture, wore a red custom-made Louis Vuitton suit with different patterns and textures.

Selena Gomez wore a custom made red, shimmering high-low dress by Giorgio Armani Privé. Gomez was nominated for Best Female Actor in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy for her role in critically acclaimed comedy series Only Murders in the Building.

Billie Eilish won Best Original Song for “What Was I Made For?,” a track on the beloved film Barbie, alongside her brother Finneas O’Connell. Eilish arrived at this year’s awards in a style true to herself, wearing an oversized, boxy black blazer over a blue, striped button-down, paired with a long, loose-fitting khaki skirt. Eilish made a statement as she paired red ruffled socks with black Mary Jane heels, which she revealed she had gotten at a thrift store.

Ayo Edebiri wore a strapless red Prada gown with a layered train and red pumps as she won Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Television Series for her performance in FX Original series The Bear.

Taylor Swift stunned on the red carpet in a sparkly, green Gucci gown. Swift was nominated in a new category that awards movies for box office achievement for her concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

Margot Robbie showed up in an iconic hot pink Giorgio Armani Privé gown designed to replicate the 1977 Superstar Barbie doll. Robbie was nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture for her much-discussed leading role in Barbie.

This year’s Golden Globe Awards not only celebrated cinematic excellence but also highlighted the glamor that makes award season an important time in fashion every year.
