21st Century Style Icon: Hunter Schafer

It is rare for an actress to transition from TV to the big screen seamlessly, but Hunter Schafer has already conquered both since her acting debut in 2019. Schafer exploded onto the scene in HBO’s smash hit Euphoria. Fans were instantly captivated by her emotional portrayal of Jules Vaughn, a transgender student trying to navigate the unfamiliar halls of East Highland High School and find her place in the world. For her debut role, Schafer received a Shorty Award, an MTV Movie & TV Award, and a Dorian Award.

Schafer gained massive exposure from Euphoria, which allowed her to begin a highly successful acting and modeling career. She has gone on to model for brands such as Prada, Dior, Gucci, Calvin Klein, and Rick Owens. In 2022, Schafer became a global ambassador for Japanese makeup brand Shiseido, and a year later, she became the face of Mugler's Angel perfume.

Schafer’s everyday style has long been coveted by many, however, she is now earning extensive praise for her experimental fashion choices following her role as Tigris Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Inspired by Tigris Snow’s eccentric style, Schafer’s recent otherworldly and hyper-feminine red carpet looks have cemented her as a leader of 21st century fashion.
