At the top of the Solow Building, Carolina Herrera unveiled its well-awaited fall 2025 collection. The collection was led under the creative direction of Wes Gordon who took over in 2018. Notable elements included florals, intricate lace, embroidery, and sheer fabrics.

Following the presentation, Gordon explained his inspiration for the show to The Associated Press, “The starting point was my favorite book of all time, which is also my favorite movie, a film called ‘Being There.’ The books are by Jerzy Kosiński and the film stars Peter Sellers and Shirley MacLaine. It’s from 1979, which is around the same time that Herrera was founded.”

The film's artistic and romantic vibe set the tone for the show.

The collection opened with its first of many eye-catching floral elements, featuring a striking blue flower flourishing at the waist of this elegant black turtleneck and pants look. Florals have always been a core part of Gordon’s designs, and this collection was no exception.

The brand's signature elegance was evident throughout, with the collection embracing a warm palette of deep blues, greys, browns, blacks, and the occasional pop of vivid pink.

A wide array of styles were fused into the season, from feminine gowns to structured blazers.

Gordon paid homage to the classic elements of Carolina Herrera while demonstrating his skill of creating forward-thinking pieces that are bound to shape the future of the brand.
