Thom Browne Fall 2025 Ready-to-Wear

Thom Browne’s glittering world of fashion never ceases to amaze. Browne’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear show took place at The Shed in New York City on Feb. 11.
The space was all-black and featured two thousand paper-white origami cranes spread throughout the entire show. In the center of the room sat a single desk and birdcage. The show began with a pair of models who strutted out and took perches at the table in the center of the runway and began making paper origami. The two models dripped in head-to-toe gray.
The allusion to birds followed throughout the entire show, gorgeous layers and perfect stitching flowed down the bodies of the models much like layers of feathers on a bird.
Sixty-four looks were each crafted with intricate details, signature tailoring, and an imaginative design. One piece in particular, Alek Wek’s final jacket, was dazzlingly embellished with 638,010 bugle beads. The craftsmen's work was truly remarkable, using forty-five different tweeds, a variety of fabrics, and whimsical colors to keep the audience on their toes. The makeup looks were also noteworthy and complemented the highly detailed clothing.
With last year's show and its nod to Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven,” it seems that Browne has had a fascination with birds for quite some time. According to an article by Vogue, Browne watched a “60 Minutes” segment on birding and felt that his birding passion, “...morphed into the idea of freedom to be as expressive and as creative as you personally want, and not to listen to other people.”
We can not wait to see what Browne does next, knowing it will never fail to awe and impress.
