Dissecting Rezek Studio’s Trifecta of Design Elements

Over the past year, fashion trends have pointed towards bright colors and experimentation. Although this was a new concept for me, I noticed people were choosing to put color on. So, I slowly integrated color into my closet and ditched the all-black, all-the-time wardrobe. Rezek Studio, a fashion brand that creates colorful silhouettes, has made the “be mature and save money” thing quite difficult.
Rezek Studio is an L.A.-based label created by Ariel Rezek. Her collections are small but mighty. If the color is in the rainbow, Rezek has created an Elle Woods meets Studio 54 ensemble incorporating it. All of her collections, inspired by the 60s and 70s, offer vibrant silk fabric that hugs you in all the right places. If you’ve heard the song “I Am Woman” by Emmy Meli then you know exactly what I mean when I say Rezek Studio’s clothing line should be featured in the music video.
On the company’s Instagram profile, Rezek has made several posts showing where her inspiration was drawn from. Like most of us, her inspiration started with a picture on Pinterest. The caption reads, “Unexpected inspo behind it all. My Pinterest circa 2014.”
The clothing line has been seen on celebrities like Matilda Djerf and featured in Teen Vogue, Vogue, and Playboy Magazine. The sets can be worn on any occasion and can be taken from disco queen to disco cowgirl with just the addition of a cowboy hat. If you are a maximalist, Rezek’s sets are even perfect for going to pick up a gallon of milk.
Rezek Studio’s newest collection consists of vibrant slip dresses, bell-sleeved tops with feather details, and silky tie-front tops with matching pants. Since 2018, Rezek has been integrating color back into our lives in a sleek and sophisticated way. Not only are the collections eye-catching, but they will make you feel like your best self. One customer’s three-word review says it all, “Best butt pants.”
