GQ Men of the Year 2023

GQ Men of the Year 2023

The GQ Men of the Year party is one of the most elusive nights in men’s fashion, celebrating this year’s honorees with a party full of Hollywood’s biggest stars. This year’s winners and cover stars were Jacob Elordi, Kim Kardashian, and Travis Scott. Tom Ford was also recognized for his years of prominence within men’s fashion design. The dress code was Modern Red Carpet, and attendees delivered with their takes on elevated, modern glamor.

Each of the cover stars dressed to impress. Jacob Elordi wore a Bottega Veneta pinstriped suit and pale yellow button-down with a wide collar and deep v-neck, reminiscent of his most recent role as Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla. Kim Kardashian dressed in a custom Chrome Hearts gown, dying her hair an ashy blonde for the occasion. Travis Scott opted for an oversized suit by Maison Margiela with a simple white tee underneath and a long, silver chain necklace to complete the look.

The red carpet saw actors, musicians, influencers, and athletes alike dressed in their best designer looks. Dwayne Wade was one of the more notable athlete appearances, seen in a Givenchy blush vest and white trousers and a brand new hair color to pull together the look.

Red, White, and Royal Blue stars Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine cemented their heartthrob status in Balenciaga and Fendi, respectively.

Emma Chamberlain, the internet’s favorite fashion icon, took on the year’s “no pants” trend in an Acne Studios motorcycle jacket and leather underwear with tights and oversized sunglasses by Cartier.

Machine Gun Kelly was as bold as ever in a distressed leather overcoat and matching flared pants by KWK.

Barry Keoghan, who stars alongside Jacob Elordi in new indie film Saltburn, went with a classic all-black ensemble by Ferragamo. Andrew Garfield went with the same color scheme, wearing a black t-shirt, trousers, and trench coat by Valentino paired with a classic pair of black and white sneakers.

GQ is one of the most prestigious publications in the world, and each year at the Men of the Year party, it is clear that this distinction is not going anywhere. Men’s fashion has been evolving and reaching a more elevated status than ever before this year, and it is largely thanks to magazines like GQ and the influential figures that they work with in each of their issues.
