One thing is certain: leopard print is in for fall. Isabel Marant’s fall/winter 2024 collection debuted at Paris Fashion Week, featuring leopard print in multiple colorways, pops of bright red, and lots of texture.
Marant’s fall collection, co-designed with artistic director Kim Bekker, took the brand back to its roots. Quintessential Marant motifs like belts, suede, fringe, and patterns were the focal point of the show.
The pieces were edgy yet utilitarian, all while feeling slouchy, lived-in, and authentic. Signature suede and fringe were incorporated into bags, shoes, and jackets, reminiscent of Marant’s infamous pieces from the 2010s. The collection was noticeably neutral, making the bright red pieces just that much more bold.
“We don’t do quiet luxury,” Marant said. “We do unquiet luxury.”
