Louis Vuitton Spring 2024 Men’s Capsule by Tyler, The Creator

Through Pharrell Williams’ role as Creative Director for Louis Vuitton Menswear, the French house has dropped arguably some of its best pieces. Williams’ next fashion collaboration is with none other than Tyler, the Creator. Tyler Gregory Okonma, creatively known as Tyler, the Creator, is a Grammy Award-winning artist known for his discography and fashion influence through sibling brands GOLF WANG, which is more streetwear driven through, tees, baseball caps, and hoodies, and GOLF le FLEUR, featuring more intricate designs and prints.
This fashion collaboration was unexpected but not surprising as the pair have worked together musically for many years on some of their most beloved songs like “IFHY” on Tyler’s 2013 album Wolf, “KEEP DA O’s” with Coco O. on Cherry Bomb in 2015, and “JUGGERNAUT” with Lil Uzi Vert on CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale in 2021. Tyler also scored the Louis Vuitton Menswear fall 2022 show.
The capsule collection in collaboration with Tyler, the Creator includes 17 looks that will launch globally on March 21. Tyler’s fashion stamp is throughout the collection, recreating his uniform through colors, patterns, fabrics, and accessories down to his hand-drawn monogram.
Tyler, the Creator has remained consistent with his creativity and style, drawing a direct line from Golf le Fleur to his reintroduction through Louis Vuitton. The wavy soles on the capsule’s shoes are reminiscent of the wavy lines often visualized in le Fleur along with the pastel colors. Daryl, Golf le Fleur’s mascot, is also featured in the capsule. The capsule even includes a waffle bag with a syrup charm, hinting at Tyler’s love for waffles, which many of his fans are familiar with.
This capsule is a collector’s edition, featuring golf clubs, aviator hats, trunks, and a squiggly wood chess set which Tyler says is his “favorite thing he’s ever made.”
Tyler is already known to go down as one of the greats musically, but this capsule will put everyone on notice as he makes another stamp in the fashion world.
