Norma Kamali Fall 2025 Ready-to-Wear

By Sophie Amen — February 20, 2025

On Feb. 12, Norma Kamali returned to the New York Fashion Week lineup after over a decade away to reveal her fall 2025 collection.

Consisting of a mix of neutral tones, variations of textures, and timeless designs, Kamali’s collection did not disappoint. The collection showcased a blend of vintage silhouettes and modern aesthetics. There was an element of refinement and class, depicted through her gowns, coats, jackets, and fur accessories.

Kamali paired brown lace tights with plaid blazers and brown leather jackets, making for a satisfying dynamic. Black leather was heavily featured through multiple styles of jackets, shorts, and skirts. Plaid and camouflage full-length coats were showcased next to chic silk gowns and sheer mesh dresses, showing Kamali’s versatility and innovation.

Another striking element was the functionality of the pieces. Each look could be styled in multiple ways, ensuring mass appeal for those interpreting each piece. Another aspect of versatility is Kamali’s headwear. Some hats were finished with a delicate feather, reminiscent of men’s 1940s vintage hats. Others were similar to vintage cloche hats.

Overall, Norma Kamali’s return to New York Fashion Week reminded us of her everlasting creativity and innovation, as she seamlessly blended the past and the present.
