Now that the 2022 Met Gala is behind us, we have been able to take a breath just long enough to notice that some of our favorite gala-goers did not attend last night’s event. Frequenters of the historic Met steps like Rihanna and Sienna Miller were among many whose personal interpretations of the theme were missed. Met Gala newbies including Timothée Chalamet and Harry Styles became fast favorites, leaving onlookers puzzled by their absence. Rumors even floated around Taylor Swift attending the event only to release an album at the end of the night, but conspiracists and fans alike were sadly mistaken.
