Step into Spring

Step into Spring

By: Hailey Layne

Moving into spring means shoes are no longer confined to boots or layers of chunky socks. Pastels typically return to the color palette and open-toed sandals appear. In this transition season, some days still require a little more coverage. Keep reading below for some of our favorite shoes to enjoy in the season of renewal.

Veja Sneakers

Veja has various sneaker styles for men, women, and children. Some shoes feature monochrome color schemes while others incorporate a mix of spring pastels. The brand uses recycled materials and sustainable business and production practices to craft its footwear. Large sneaker brands spend approximately 70% of their costs on average on advertising, so Veja cut advertising completely. They are able to offer a high-quality product around the same price as other big-name brands and reallocate their profits to support their goal of a more sustainable fashion future.

Teva Hurricane Drift Sandals

Wherever a spring adventure takes you, these sandals are tough enough to keep up. Water-resistant and rubber-soled, these are perfect for the beach or lake. They are offered in a variety of different colors as well as neutrals.

Bibi Lou Flats

Perfect for occasions like weddings, formals, and even garden parties, these flats do not sacrifice comfort for style. They feature a sparkly buckle on the front and a sling-back to keep your heels in place.

New Balance 574

Built to be a reliable shoe, the 574 offers a classic style in modern color variations. Foam cushioning supports the foot and the tread is made for trail or road conditions.

Kate Spade Delphine Heels

This low heel is printed in an updated version of a floral picnic blanket. It features a block heel that works for roaming across a park or an event space.

No matter the shoes you are wearing, spring is a time to enjoy the new growth all around. Enjoy the outdoors and do not let your footwear hold you back.
