Red carpet fashion at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards did not disappoint. Looks ranged from metallic and crystalline to neon florets, giving every onlooker something to appreciate.
Cardi B in Gaurav Gupta and Paco Rabanne
Cardi B took on the night in a sculptural blue gown by Gaurav Gupta. She later changed into a futuristic ensemble by the late designer Paco Rabanne who passed away two days before the ceremony. Rabanne famously designed for Audrey Hepburn, Jane Fonda, and Brigitte Bardot.
H.E.R. in Bach Mai
R&B artist H.E.R. stunned at her fifth Grammy Awards in a peplum gown that featured a two-tiered skirt with a voluminous upper and sheer lower level. The look was finished with silver jewelry, round sunglasses, and a berry red lip.
Harry Styles in EgonLab and Gucci
The “As it Was” singer donned a total of three looks throughout the night. Styles’s first outfit, a Swarovski crystal covered jumpsuit, sparked comparison to popular children’s book, The Rainbow Fish. Later, he continued with a sparkly theme, performing in a sequin fringed Gucci jumpsuit and accepting his second and third gramophones in a silver Swarovski crystal top paired with a cream tuxedo jacket and camel pants.
Lizzo in Dolce & Gabbana
Lizzo was accompanied by boyfriend Myke Wright on the red carpet while wearing a Swarovski jeweled corset dress with a matching orange flowered cape. The ensemble featured hundreds of hand-sewn floral appliques. She later changed into a metallic minidress in which she accepted her fourth Grammy award for her song “About Damn Time.”
Sam Smith and Kim Petras in Valentino
Accessorized by a six person entourage, Smith and Petras’s all-red looks are amongst the night’s most memorable outfits. The pair took home the Pop Duo/Group Performance award for their song “Unholy,” making Petras the first transgender individual to win a Grammy.
Dylan Mulvaney in Christian Siriano
Mulvaney wore a red dress with a classic silhouette reminiscent of Old Hollywood glamor. The look was modernized by triangular cut outs on either side of her waist. Sunday night’s red carpet was Mulvaney’s first public appearance since undergoing facial feminization surgery.
Alisha Gaddis in Rachel Burke
A polarizing look, Gaddis’s floral gown was one of the most colorful on the red carpet. The dress featured a voluminous skirt and equally striking pink tulle sleeves. Gaddis and husband, Lucky Diaz were nominated for Best Children’s Albums.
