Tulle’s Comeback as Fall’s New It Fabric

Tulle’s Comeback as Fall’s New It Fabric

By: Bella Duncan

Fabrics and textures move their way through the fashion cycle as much as any trend, and this season’s emerging hero is slightly unconventional. Tulle in every form and fashion is taking the main stage this year. Full tulle skirts and t-shirts are soon to be donned by the masses in true Carrie Bradshaw fashion.

Tulle is a fun, lightweight material that can effortlessly add texture and volume to your outfits as we begin to dress for cooler days. This rendition from Anthropologie comes in an array of neutral colors to easily be added to your fall wardrobe. Pair a tulle skirt with a t-shirt and leather jacket for a breezy fall uniform.

Take inspiration from the streets of New York Fashion Week and incorporate bright tulle into an otherwise basic outfit. Influencer & Daily Drills co-founder Mary Ralph Lawson was seen sporting hot pink tulle and baggy denim at NYFW with Revolve. This chic combo is sure to have heads turning no matter where you are.
