On May 9, Hailey and Justin Biebers’ pregnancy announcement took the internet by storm. While not technically an official wedding, the couple revealed content from their vow renewal in Hawaii where they both opted to wear Saint Laurant by Anthony Vaccarello. They chose matching diamond Eternity rings from Tiffany & Co. to celebrate five years of marriage.
Jessica Szohr and Brad Richardson
At a dreamy, weekend-long celebration at Pine Canyon in Arizona, “Gossip Girl” star Jessica Szohr and professional hockey player Brad Richardson tied the knot. Szohr went for a beaded, structured Galia Lavah gown for the ceremony. She added a sentimental touch with words of advice from her grandfather engraved in her veil, “Take time to smell the roses.” The guest list consisted of 150 loved ones, including actress Nina Dobrev as her maid of honor.
Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey
Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and football player Christian McCaffrey officially became husband and wife at a classic New England wedding in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Culpo chose a timeless ballgown-style dress by Dolce & Gabbana featuring long sleeves and a crew neck, paired with a 16-foot veil. The venue was filled with Amalfi Coast-inspired yellow and blue hues on the lawn of the Ocean House.
Typical with brides and stars alike, we saw pops of color, bubble and drop-waist styles, and unconventional choices that helped them embrace their individuality. Many brides are becoming weary of the ever-changing trend cycle in the wedding world and are leaning towards more minimalist and classic aesthetics. With fall and winter weddings just around the corner, summer has set the stage for what is to come.
