The models walked on a gold metallic runway around a large gold floral statue, setting the tone for the garments and the collection as a whole. This fall runway collection featured 59 looks. Noticeable trends included shades of neutrals and metallics, a few pops of olive green and purple, unique textures and patterns, and various silhouettes.

This runway show was a fusion of Johnson’s designs with “fleeting floral” pieces from French sculptor Julie Hamisky. Johnson collaborates with female artists often for her collections.

Vogue stated, “Johnson’s recent collections have showcased works by notable female artists, including last season’s first-of-its-kind collaboration with the Lee Krasner estate. Her partnership with Hamisky continues the legacy-building narrative.”

The collection began with flowing silhouettes of gold metallics, including a long, black billowing sheer dress with polka dots. The first few looks also featured structured suit jackets and skirts based in black with flecks of gold tweed throughout.

This trend continued throughout the show with different shades of neutrals such as beige, brown, black, and peach. Various patterns were seen during the show, as well as ruffles and one Canadian tuxedo look, featuring a long denim skirt and a cropped denim jacket with poncho detailing on the shoulders.

As the show progressed, looks featuring fur, florals, and colors like olive green and purple were showcased. A floral wide-leg two-piece set was preceded by an olive green suede suit with more poncho details. A peach-colored flowing gown was showcased towards the end of the show, featuring more neutral tones and ruffles.

The last look of the show, besides the one worn by the designer herself, was a puff sleeve, off-the-shoulder, textured metallic gold ankle-length gown featuring a necklace designed in collaboration with Julie Hamisky.

The designer ended the show by waving to the audience and embracing her daughter who was sitting in the front row.
