What to Pack for Spring Break

By: Claire Watkiss

With spring break creeping upon us, now is the perfect time to start preparing. After nearly two years we are finally experiencing the first real spring break since 2020, and we now have the opportunity to get together with friends and put together fun outfits while we soak up the sun. Here are some brands to browse as you begin to put together your outfits for your upcoming getaway.

  • Invest in a good pair of denim jean shorts. Brands like Agolde and One Teaspoon offer various styles and shades of denim. While they are a bit pricey, they are great quality and will last you for many spring breaks to come.

  • Grab a pair of basic, comfortable walking shoes. These Veja sneakers are a no-brainer. They are perfect for morning coffee runs or long walks while on vacation.

  • To pair with your maxi dresses while at dinner, opt for these pale green slides that will be sure to complement your sundresses all trip long.

  • Get yourself a few, nice quality swimsuits. Beach Riot also has some irresistible patterns and designs that will be sure to photograph perfectly while you’re on a sunny, sandy beach. If you’re looking to splurge on some high-quality suits, check out Frankies Bikinis. They have multiple style options, patterns and colors to choose from. Blackbough Swim has some unique options as well.

  • To cover up in style, snag these crochet pants that will be sure to complement your swimsuits seamlessly. If you’re looking for something with a bit more coverage, check out this coverup dress that is just the slightest bit of see-through so your swimsuit shines through.

  • Accessorize with waterproof jewelry. SoFlo Jewels has some great options for staying chic while on the beach. The company is based in South Florida and knows what they’re talking about when it comes to jewelry made for the sand and sea.

  • Finally, do not forget a spacious and stylish beach bag to rock the whole week long. This woven bag will be sure to fit your sunscreen, sunglasses, and snacks.
