Picture this: you’re snuggled up on the couch next to the glowing fire wrapped in a fuzzy blanket with a good read in hand, a cup of cocoa by your side, and the perfect scented candle burning in the background. The holiday season is not complete without those classical scents we crave around this time of year. These 14 candles are ideal for both burning in your own home, as well as for gift giving to your closest friends and family.
As gal from the North, I had no idea what the big deal with Tyler Candle Company and the Diva scent was when I first arrived in Mississippi. I soon learned that this scent was incredible, and just about every girl in Oxford used it to wash their clothes and had it hanging as an air freshener in their car. My roommate most recently started burning the warm sugar cookie scent by Tyler Candle Company in our house, and it got me so excited for the holiday season ahead. Tyler’s candles burn for hours and truly do fill up your space with scent.
This candle is one of our family favorites. After discovering it at a local boutique while holiday shopping, we have had it as a staple scent in our home for years. While it is not a part of Voluspa’s holiday line, its combination of orange, mango and goji berry brightens up any space effortlessly.
These next couple of candles by Homesick are great for gift giving. Their trendy packaging and variety of scents make it easy for you to find one to fit anyone in your life.
Everyone is familiar with Capri Blue’s Volcano candle, however they also have great scents for the holidays. This one caught my eye due to the glittery glass jar it comes in. Not only does it provide a great scent, it can also double as decor!
Jo Malone is known for their decadent colognes, and their candles are just as extravagant. This pine and eucalyptus scent would be great in a bathroom, as it has a clean aroma to it. While these candles are on the pricier side, consider adding it to your wishlist this year to receive as a gift.
You truly cannot go wrong with a classic Bath and Body Works Candle. With the assortment of scents to choose from, you can spend hours inside the store picking out just the right one. Additionally, you cannot beat the sales they have on these candles every winter!
