2025 Summer Weddings Recap

By Olivia Blackwell — September 16, 2025

From intimate garden celebrations to full-scale extravagant weddings—we saw it all this summer wedding season. Celebrity pairings tied the knot left and right, and several notable trends took place all over the map. The season revealed not only who walked down the aisle but also the key elements shaping bridal couture, statement accessories, and iconic wedding moments.

Eve Jobs and Harry Charles

Eve Jobs, 27-year-old daughter of Laurene and Steve Jobs, and 26-year-old renowned equestrian Harry Charles said “I do” in a very private celebration with no official footage or information publicly published before the day. However, we do know that it took place at Estelle Manor with Elton John and Kaytranda performing at the reception. The bridesmaids wore red, and just a few of the notable guests included Callum Turner, the Kardashian sisters, and Phoebe Gates and Jennifer Gates Nassar.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez

Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and Sanchez, an Emmy-winning broadcast journalist, got married on June 27 in Venice following several glamorous pre-wedding events. Sanchez walked down the aisle in a high-neck, long-sleeve, Italian lace dress custom-made by Dolce & Gabbana. Although the guest list was only around 200, it was nothing short of a star-studded affair with guests including the Kardashians, Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti, Oprah Winfrey, and Sydney Sweeney.

Charli xcx and George Daniel

Pop star Charli xcx married The 1975’s drummer George Daniel at Hackney Town Hall in London. For the ceremony, Charli wore an asymmetrical cocktail-length dress by Vivienne Westwood. That evening, the dress was featured in a TikTok paired with black chunky sunglasses in true Brat fashion. The reception was held at Italian restaurant Dalla before guests headed to Ellie’s bar. The 1975’s lead singer Matty Healy was in Los Angeles for a showing of I Know What You Did Last Summer, but bandmates Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald were in attendance.

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen

Football player Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld tied the knot at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. The actress wore a strapless, corset-style gown adorned with a cathedral veil and sheer opera gloves. Instead of a traditional bouquet, Steinfeld held a single sculpted rose to approach the altar. The guest list remains unconfirmed, but Allen’s teammates and friends, such as Larry David, attended.

Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes

Lovato and Lutes were married at the historic Bellosguardo Estate in Santa Barbara before 135 guests, helped by the expertise of celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss. Demi wore a Vivienne Westwood corseted gown, styled by Jill Jacobs, while Jordan opted for a sharp Saint Laurent suit. Paris Hilton took over the DJ booth, keeping the dance floor alive at the reception, and the celebration concluded with a sparkler send-off and a vintage Cadillac exit.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Engagement

Although not an official wedding—in a moment that captivated fans worldwide—pop icon Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26. The couple shared pictures of the garden proposal at Kelce’s Kansas City home through social media. Swift’s vintage-inspired engagement ring was co-designed by Kelce and jeweler Kindred Lubeck. The ring features an elongated old mine cut diamond, estimated at 7 to 10 carats, set in a yellow-gold band with delicate engravings. The couple's playful Instagram caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” resonated with fans, marking the beginning of their journey toward a future wedding.

With the summer wedding season coming to a close, power celebrity pairings have been keeping the wedding world busy. Naturally, each wedding was a true reflection of the couple’s personalities. Some opted for extravagant international celebrations, while others favored intimate, family-centered moments at beloved local settings.
