Finding new books to read is always a fun experience, and there is no shortage of options to choose from. To help get you started, here are a few books to add to your to-be-read list.

Happy Place by Emily Henry

From the author who wrote popular novels People We Meet on Vacation and Beach Read, this new story follows a couple, Harriet and Wyn, who have broken up but decide to pretend to be together as they go on their yearly trip to Maine for the sake of not breaking their best friends’ hearts. This book will be released on April 25, 2023.

Described as Aristotle and Dante meets The Sun is Also a Star, this story follows Ander Lopez, who is currently on a gap year, preparing for a future in art school in Chicago and leaving behind their home and family’s taqueria in San Antonio. Ander then meets Santiago Garcia, the new waiter at the taqueria, and as they begin falling for each other, ICE agents come for Santiago. This book will be released on May 2, 2023

Queen Charlotte by Julia Quinn and Shonda Rhimes

If you love the show Bridgerton and are awaiting the next season, check out this novel based on the new spinoff series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. The story follows Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, a German princess arranged to marry King George III of Britain within hours of meeting. As she embarks on a new journey, she learns how to be queen while falling in love with the king, who has some secrets himself. This novel will be released on May 9, 2023, just days after the release of the Netflix series on May 4, 2023.

Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano

In this novel, William Waters had a past defined by tragedy until meeting Julia Padavano and her family. As William’s past is revealed, a family rift forms, begging the question: can love make a broken person whole?

Paris: The Memoir by Paris Hilton

If you love celebrity memoirs, this personal account from American media personality Paris Hilton may be the book for you. This memoir is all about Hilton’s life and journey in the spotlight, sharing her past and different challenges on the path to healing, love, and purpose.

Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins

This popular novel, now an Amazon Prime series, is one to read if you have not already. The story is about the rise of a popular 1970s band and the story behind their breakup. Whether you read the book before watching the new series or you have watched the series but not read the book, now is the time to dive into this critically-acclaimed story.

The Audrey Hepburn Estate by Brenda Janowitz

Like Audrey Hepburn’s character in the movie Sabrina, Emma Jansen grew up on Long Island, where her mother and father worked for the family that owned the estate. Years later, Emma returns to the estate after learning it will be demolished. She reunites her former lover, Henry, the grandson of the property’s owners, and her best friend, Leo, the driver’s son, and discovers new secrets about her family. This novel will be released on April 18, 2023.

The Infinite Threads by Tahereh Mafi

This story is a sequel to the popular fantasy novel This Woven Kingdom. It continues the story of Alizeah, the heir to the Jin Kingdom throne, and Kamran, the crown prince of the Ardunian empire, as their worlds have simultaneously changed. Without spoiling the first story (which you may want to read first before this one), this story contains all the romance, magic, and betrayal that you could hope for in a romantic fantasy novel.

The Neighbor Favor by Kristina Forest

Just recently released, the story begins with Lily Greene, an aspiring children’s book editor who feels stuck with her current career but finds a joyous escape in a pen-pal-like correspondence with her favorite fantasy author, who one day stops writing to her. As months pass, Lily wants to get her life together and enlists her neighbor, Nick Brown, to help her find a date for her sister’s wedding. Little does she realize that Nick Brown is the fantasy author Lily was writing to all along.
