Justin Castin Fall/Winter 2024

Justin Castin Fall/Winter 2024

By Audrey Cooper

Los Angeles-based menswear designer Justin Castin created a stunning collection of contemporary looks that showcased a blend of classic tailoring with innovative fabrications and modern menswear silhouettes. The show took place at the Vinyl Factory in Soho, London and featured a diverse group of models. The environment of the show was thrilling, with a brightly lit catwalk and rhythmic music.

Leather, linen, and flashes of tweed dominated the designs showcased in this collection. Castin guides the show along with a journey from dark to lighter tones, with beige and brown flowing into olive green and soft blue, illuminating a perfect array of fall and winter colors.

The classic work-inspired outerwear caught the attention of all, specifically Castin’s choice to eliminate shirts and allow the jackets to shine on their own. One stand-out look was a bright green puffer jacket paired with black trousers. Castin neglected accessories in his looks, with models in simple sandals and carrying the occasional handbag, which allowed viewers to focus primarily on the clothing.

The show reaffirmed Justin Castin’s status in the fashion world as a visionary for modernist menswear clothing, and left a lasting impression on all who experienced it.
