2022 Venice Film Festival Red Carpet Recap

Like any good movie, fashion tells a story. Each year, world-renown actors and actresses flock to Venice, Italy to promote their own films and the performances of their peers. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest cinema festival in the world originating in 1932; the event seeks to promote the integrity and freedom of cinema. As the red carpet stretched over The Lido, directors and designers showcased their artistry. Armani was notable in the number of ensembles represented on the carpet with 52 celebrity appearances; Valentino was also represented with 24 looks. Below are a few of our favorite outfits from the event.
Sadie Sink
Dressed by Alexander McQueen, actress Sadie Sink promoted her upcoming film The Whale.
Gemma Chan
Dressed by Louis Vuitton, actress Gemma Chan attended the premiere of Don’t Worry Darling alongside her costars: Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, and Chris Pine.
Tessa Thompson
Thompson was heralded as the breakout star of the carpet with looks of varying sculptural gowns. She is pictured in a design by Marc Jacobs.
Emma Chamberlain
Chamberlain attended the premiere of White Noise in Valentino and Cartier. The red gown was from Valentino’s 2007 fall collection.
Chris Pine
The Don’t Worry Darling star was dressed in an ensemble by Giuliva Heritage featuring a red pant and an open collar shirt.
Noah Jupe
A Quiet Place actor Noah Jupe was dressed in a sparkling suit from CELINE HOMME.
