Daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and wife of superstar Justin Bieber, Hailey Rhode Baldwin Bieber has always known the spotlight. Despite her connections, Bieber has paved her own way in the world, earning her status as a 21st century style icon.
Hailey Bieber is one of the most stylish women of our generation. As a model for countless designer brands, the face of Levi’s, and now founder of her own skincare brand, Rhode, Bieber has made her mark on both the beauty and fashion industries at only 25.
A lover of chunky gold jewelry, monochromatic outfits, and oversized blazers, her look is iconic and practical for everyday wear. With an effortless edge to every outfit, Beiber sets trends while simultaneously maintaining a sense of personal identity.
Bieber’s modeling career began in 2014 and she started to make a name for herself as a style icon when she attended the 2015 Met Gala in an understated Topshop ensemble.
Unlike many modern models and fashionistas, Bieber’s street style is simultaneously envied and accessible. As she stated in Vogue’s “7 Days, 7 Looks,” Bieber incorporates products from budget-friendly brands such as Mango and Zara into her everyday wardrobe.
She is not afraid to rewear pieces, supporting a more sustainable approach to fashion. The model is regularly photographed in her favorite Natasha Zinko jeans, Nike tennis shoes, and classic gold jewelry.
Bieber’s cutting-edge street style brought new life to the rise in menswear for women. Bieber regularly utilizes oversized blazers as everyday jackets, and the loose-fitting silhouette has become synonymous with her style.
From the day-to-day to her wedding day, Bieber sets the personal style bar high. When she and Justin Bieber married, she wore a custom dress designed by the late Virgil Abloh, the founder of Off-White and a longtime friend of the couple. Hers was the first wedding dress designed by the Off-White team.
As Bieber revealed in her dress fitting with Vogue, she asked Abloh to design the dress as a way to mesh her iconic street style with a classic wedding look. The dress included beaded sleeves which covered most of Bieber’s hands and an intricately detailed cathedral-length train with the phrase “till death do us part” boldly beaded inside Off-White’s classic quotation marks. Her hair was up in a sleek bun, one of her street style staples.
Bieber has put herself at the forefront of countless trends and has achieved what any fashionista hopes for, a recognizable sense of style. She has and will continue to define twenty-first century fashion for years to come.
