Victoria Beckham Spring 2023 Ready-to-Wear

Victoria Beckham made her Paris Fashion Week debut this past week with an intricate line of everything from dainty dresses to oversized, deconstructed suits. The former Spice Girls member made her mark on the city and proved she is not going anywhere but upwards in the fashion world.

The line highlights femininity, sticking to silhouettes that highlight the body’s natural form and a softer color palette that is purposefully delicate. Beckham uses deconstructed tailoring and cuts to show what she refers to as, “strength evoked through delicacy.” 

The collection celebrates the versatility of a dress with several different styles with unique necklines, fabrics, and accessories. Ruffles and ruching draw the eye into the shape of the pieces, and Beckham’s signature lace is present throughout the line. 

Another interesting item of prominence were tassels, present both in dresses and in accompanying handbags with many of the outfits. The Tassel Bag comes in three sizes and a variety of colors, making it the perfect accessory for any outfit. 

Beckham utilized a variety of textures and fabrics to tell the collection’s story. Some pieces were translucent and loose while others featured fitted latex gloves and stockings. Each item was impeccably designed and the entire collection fit together beautifully, highlighting simple elegance and the power in femininity.
