Kim Kardashian Covers 2023 GQ Men of the Year Issue

Kim Kardashian is the epitome of success. Her journey to the top was unlike most, as she challenged traditional boundaries and stereotypes to make a name for herself in the business and entertainment world. It is because of this that she covered the 2023 issue of GQ Men of the Year.

The likes of Rihanna, Jenifer Lopez, Megan Thee Stallion, and Serena Williams have graced the MOTY cover in years past, though they do not wear nearly as many hats as Kardashian, who was also named Tycoon of the Year. Her handful of remarkable titles include fashion mogul, reality star, law student, activist, and founder of several companies. She has also successfully catapulted her shapewear brand Skims into a $3.2 billion empire that recently became an official partner of the NBA.

Kardashain attributes her success to her father, legendary lawyer Robert Kardashian. Before his death in 2003, her father told Kardashian to be sure to take care of her siblings. Now, 20 years later, she claims that her accomplishments are a result of that conversation as they “forced her to make decisions differently.” Her motivation to pass the Bar and become a lawyer stems from her desire to honor her father, and continue to care for her family. She claims that out of anyone, her family especially needs a lawyer.

Being the cover star of a GQ Men of the Year issue is a testament to the leaps and bounds Kardashian has made throughout her career and the impact she has had across multiple industries, continuing to defy the norms and boundaries set by society.
