21st Century Style Icon: AnnaSophia Robb

AnnaSophia Robb has graced Hollywood screens for many years, beginning her acting career as a child. From Because of Winn-Dixie to Soul Surfer, Robb has acted in many fan-favorite productions over the last two decades. While playing iconic characters such as a young Carrie Bradshaw, Robb has formed her own personal style different from that of any character she has inhabited. 

Robb mixes an ethereal and whimsical aesthetic with an on-trend French look, typically seen in pieces from Gabriela Hearst or Sandy Liang. At only five feet tall, Robb is certainly more petite than the average runway model. Defying many of the arbitrary rules placed on petite women, Robb never shies from long hemlines or patterns.

Robb seamlessly incorporated her timeless style into her wedding at Catskills Mountain in New York in the fall of 2022. Robb’s ceremony dress was a Danielle Frankel gown consisting of a structured corset bodice and tulle skirt. Robb describes Frankle’s pieces as, “unlike anything I had seen: modern and whimsical, yet classic and timeless—a distinct voice in the bridal world.” For her rehearsal dinner, Robb donned a vintage Galliano dress adorned with playful cutout flowers. 

Robb’s style is consistent and true, and friendships with designers such as Gabriela Hearst ensure that we will certainly be seeing more of the actress in the fashion world soon.
