21st Century Style Icon: Jacob Elordi

By: Audrey Cooper

Jacob Elordi, Australian actor and Hollywood heartthrob, is proving himself to be Gen Z’s leading man, worthy of joining the ranks of modern fashion icons. Elordi takes his fashion-forward statements seriously, whether strolling through the streets of New York or on set. He gives off a polished yet effortless look in his day-to-day wear with plenty of vintage pieces, accessories, and perfect natural hair.

Elordi is rarely found without one of his vintage baseball hats, and maintains sneaker-head status, sporting brands from Golden Goose to Adidas and Nike. He loves oversized t-shirts, leaning towards a classic crisp white, and pairs them with simple trousers, jeans, athletic shorts, or even patterned Chinos.

The actor elaborates his everyday look with neck scarves, jewelry, and purses, the latter of which has gained him significant attention online. Elordi has a particular weakness for designer purses, with his collection including Burberry, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, and more.

Elordi’s street style is second only to his event appearances. In 2021, he stole the spotlight on the Jimmy Kimmel show in a red Hugo Boss suit from FW21, pairing it over a wide-collared pinstripe shirt. Keeping with his typical vintage flair, Elordi  glamorized the look with rings, chain necklaces, a Cartier watch, and kilted loafers.

More recently, Elordi appeared at the 2023 Venice Film Festival for Sofia Coppola’s new movie Priscilla, in which he plays Elvis Presley. In true rockstar fashion, Elordi appeared at the festival in head-to-toe Valentino, with a double-breasted black tuxedo over a button-up shirt paired with a skinny black tie and black shoes. Of course, Elordi accessorized with his signature Cartier watch.

With Pricilla, Saltburn, and a new season of Euphoria on the way, Elordi is headed to the top and we all know wherever he goes, his effortless fashion statements are sure to follow.
