Tory Burch Autumn/Winter 2025 Ready-to-Wear

By Emma Williams — February 14, 2025

Designer Tory Burch showcased her autumn/winter ready-to-wear collection at New York Fashion Week on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025.

The runway was a gray, minimal design, allowing the designs to stand out against the dull background. This fall collection featured 43 looks, all embodying Tory Burch’s concept of casual elegance. Noticeable trends throughout the show included oversized silhouettes, various textures such as velvet, and neutrals with pops of vibrant colors.

Burch added a twist to the show’s theme of American sportswear by leaving shirt seams unfinished so they could be draped and wrapped around the shoulders, creating a unique combination of chic and comfort.

Texture was celebrated in every look. Burch used materials such as velvet and silk to add value to monochrome designs. Burch’s use of bright colors and layering pleased the audience’s eyes and easily stole the show.

As the show progressed, there was a noticeable trend in the looks’ details. Gold brooches were on almost every sweater and jacket, adding a delicate touch of elegance.

Multi-pocketed leather jackets and exotic patterned coats were the statement pieces in this collection. Burch transformed the American sportswear look with tight belts that cinched blazers at the waist, creating a flattering figure.

The last look of the show was a navy silk dress with shoulder pads and draped sleeves. The show ended with a mesmerizing laugh track by Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, communicating the “world-is-twisted” theme.
