American supermodel and media personality Hailey Rhode Bieber launched her new skincare brand, Rhode, on Wednesday, June 15th. The brand, Bieber’s namesake, focuses on a “new philosophy” for skincare. Rhode is all about “that really work, in a way that’s accessible to everyone,” says Bieber. The first line includes five products including the Peptide Glazing Fluid, Barrier Restore Cream, and three different flavors of Treat lip treatments.
The highly-anticipated launch comes in the midst of Bieber making herself a skincare muse for many while the popularity of dewy skin continues to grow in the beauty industry. Bieber is a champion of the latter, with her coined “glazed donut” look.
“My standard when I go to bed at night is that if I’m not getting into bed looking like a glazed donut, then I’m not doing the right thing,” says Bieber in a video for her YouTube channel. “Find yourself a moisturizer that helps you look like a glazed donut at the end of the day.”
According to the website, the brand also has an advisory board made up of two doctors. Dr. Ron Robinson, a cosmetic chemist known for his own line, Beautystat, and Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali, a renowned New York City dermatologist who has founded numerous skin and hair care lines and worked with the likes of Martha Stewart.
“One of everything really good,” Bieber said when promoting her new line on social media on the day of the launch. “Rhode is an edited collection of efficacious, intentional skincare. Our multi-tasking products are super wearable and glaze your skin with goodness.”
The only products that are still available for purchase on the website are the separate flavors of the lip treatments, but those interested in the serum, moisturizer, or bundles are encouraged to join the website's waitlist.
