While controversial, there is no denying the impact this approach is having on the world of fashion and the evolution of runways. Here are a few of the most unique performance runways from the fall/winter 2023 season.

Earlier this month, Tiffany & Co, and Nike unveiled a bold yet unlikely alliance that has evoked mixed feelings from audiences on both sides of the partnership. The surprise collaboration comes in the form of black suede Air Force 1 Lows with a “Tiffany Blue” Nike swoosh and sterling silver hardware on the heel. Images of the design leaked prematurely, prompting both an early reveal and a heated debate amongst fans. Did streetwear just gain an iconic power couple, or are Nike and Tiffany guilty of a half-hearted misfire?

Chanel’s Spring 2023 Couture show did what Chanel does best: present new and exciting looks while staying true to its roots. Carrying on Karl Lagerfeld’s propensity for larger-than-life sets, Virginie Viard, Chanel’s creative director, took inspiration from Coco Chanel’s Paris apartment.
