In the past decade, the fashion industry, especially the fast fashion industry, has exhausted styles ranging from the sixties to the two thousands. It comes as no surprise that designers and consumers are in need of new inspiration, thus looking even farther back in time to the nineteenth century.

From a fashion industry that dates back to the 17th century to the origination of haute couture, Paris has no shortage of fashion history under its belt. While Paris is home to high fashion and luxury, it is also the master of leisurely fashion. No where else achieves effortless style quite like Paris. Parisians truly are the pioneers for a classic and timeless style and I have gladly followed suit while transitioning my wardrobe from summer to fall.

From less colorful cars on the road to more neutral home styles, there has been a complete shift in our world toward minimalism. Even luxury brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Burberry have switched their logos from classic fonts to mainstream black block letters. The now-blossoming season of autumn will come and go – as will winter – and the warmer months ahead will be here before we know it. The Row has just confirmed that our wardrobes will be prepared for it.
